Why are some white girls so obsess with tanning at a salon?

I am not trying to be mean but geez some girls need not to tan white people look scary when they OVER tan ... like carrot skin


I am mexican let's embrace our skin color people!

Why are some white girls so obsess with tanning at a salon?
Somewhat you could say a trend has been changing in the liking of the male in this period of time. For some reason it has come to be that some men have started to like darker skinned women. As for it being unappealing, that is a cause of miss calculation and stupidity of the person who is being tanned. What I find even more unattractive is tan- lines.

Reply:Because they don't like who they are. I've seen a TON of girls who over tan, and even some guys :S. I don' understand it, I'd rather stick with my white un-tanned skin then have it all leathery and full of cancer when I get older. I when that happens to you "beautiful" girls tanning constantly, I will simply point and laugh and say, "I told ya so, that's what you get."

Alot of white girls wish they were latina and feel pressured by their bf's and the media to feel like they're skin isn't nice.





Sunless tanner is okay in small amounts when used appropriately, but baking yourself is so bad for your skin, and makes your skin look aged because it damages it so bad.


Dermatologists would kill people who do that!





It's actually healthier to just lay out in the sun every once in a while and develop a good tan than to go weekly to the tanning bed.





People don't have restrictions on how many times they go to the beach. If tanning gets restricted don't you think there could be something bad about overdoing it? I wish those people would think for like... four seconds.
Reply:y some go to a tanning place idk... i just lay outside sometimes..yes it is groose when ppl over tan just a nice light tan is plenty good

I am proud of my pale skin but ill be honest and say if im gonna go abroad and shove my big old **** into a bikini i would much rather look like a bronzed beach babe than a Pasteurised bottle of milk!! Spray tanning dont make u look a carrot colour neither.
