How much does it cost to go to a tanning salon and get a tan?
LOL, there ARE ways to make tanning HEALTHIER and the only way a FEW times in the tanning bed or sun will cause cancer is if it's in your family or you have LIGHT skin and tend to burn easily and often.

Now, MOITURIZE BEFORE AND AFTER. Moisturizing skin will prevent and treat damage to the skin. Tanning IS damage to the skin.. thats what causes the different pigmentation. Start off at 10 minutes, and if ONLY a light pinkness occurs, wait 24 hours and go for 12 min. If this is TOO red, drop back down to ten minutes and try again the next session. Increase gradually and MOISTURIZE. Be sure the lotion is for sensitive skin and is non-fragrant and sun-safe. ALSO: you CAN apply sunscreen and still tan!!! Don't apply a sun-BLOCK though. Sunscreen (spf 15 for harder to tan or 30 for normal) allows enough rays to penetrate to still get desired (sometimes BETTER) effects but repels some-most harmful ones. Dont start applying the tanning oils and such until you have a base tan. This is VERY harmful to skin that hasn't been adjusted yet. Good luck!!!!

per session avg: $4-$5

monthly: $25-$40
Reply:Stay out of tanning salons. My friend, age 22, got skin cancer from going to those things
Reply:bout £25/$40...u can have cheaper ones but not worth it. make sure u get a nice dark shade or theyl fobb u off with a light one nd u cant tell the difference. ye get one..u can always wash it off or moisturise it so it looks less obvious!
Reply:Tanning salons are a high price to pay for cancer. Get Jergens Natural Glow. I use it and go out in the sun to get a darker tan on top of it! It works I get a healthy, sexy glow. Use spfs to prevent uv rays
Reply:Tanning like that isnt smart. I suggest you get some kind of lotion or a spray tan (which stink by the way). You could get a healthy looking tan without putting yourself at risk for cancer. I dont know how much it costs, but Ive heard its expensive. A good alternate would be to buy the lotion. It wont give you skin cancer and it doesnt cost as much.
Reply:I THINK YOU JUST SHOULD GO TO THE BEACH THATS THE SAFEST WAY TO GET A TAN CAUSE I HEARD THAT YOU CAN GET SKIN CANCER FROM THE TANING SALON THINGS
Reply:first of all stop worrying about looking gay because you want a tanner body!!! that kind of thinking is just as ignorant as those who think males tanning is gay!

i don't like the idea of tanning beds. i've had great results with tanning lotions. easy to get the exact color you want and it's cheap and (supposedly) safe.
