Whats good weather for tanning?

ive been wanting to go outside and tan lately.. but i dont know if its even hot enough.

Whats good weather for tanning?
If the sun is out, it's probably fine.. But be sure to wear sunscreen.
Reply:Good weather for tanning is a hot dry day but lightly cloudy.
Reply:Heat doesnt have much to do with getting a tan. Its how many ultra violet rays you are exposed to. Since the part of the earth you are on is tilted more towards the sun during summer, the intensity of the suns rays are stronger. But temperature is not a direct factor. Ask anyone that got a mean sunburn while skiing.
Reply:If you go outside and can be comfortable in your bathing suit (or whatever you wear when you tan...) then it's warm enough for you. Personally, I like when it's hot, not warm, but hot outside, because I know I won't freeze. But like I said, if you think that you won't be cold then the temperature doesn't matter, just make sure to wear sunscreen because you don't want to burn.
Reply:it doesn`t necessarily have to be hot, because even on a cloudy day, some ultraviolet rays are being emitted...that`s why many people get nasty sunburns on cloudy days, they don`t think it`s necessary to use a sunblock!!!
Reply:the heat has nothing do do with, i'm cringing at this question. It has to do with sun light. You can tan in winter if you want to.
