How do you prevent tanning?

I want to know how to either prevent a tan or remove it. It is inevitable for me to stay out of the sun alot.. I wear sunscreen but that's it. I don't know what else to do.

How do you prevent tanning?
I use SPF 50 and never get anything. I also wear sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat if I know I'll be out in the sun for long periods of time.

Reply:try this its called florex it is supposed to prevent sensitivity from the sun and once u put it on then put sunscreen of an spf of 60
Reply:Well, if you have to be out in the sun then you are bumming. Sunscreen only blocks the bad cancer causing rays but you still tan with it on. Do the best you can to stay out of the sun. And you can't remove a tan. Good luck!

and u can wear a hat to block out the sun

Reply:You can never remove a tan, it just fades after time. A tan is a chemical reaction your skin has to the sun. The only way to prevent it from happening is by preventing skin exposure to the sun. You do that by staying indoors, wearing clothing that covers you (long sleeves, hats, pants, socks, etc), or applying high SPF sunscreen frequently (more often if you sweat or get wet).





Other than that, it's like asking how you stay alive with a severed head. Maybe paramecium can do it, but you can't.

Reply:I know this sounds dumb but you could either find a stronger sunscreen, stay covered up, carry a light weight shawl in your purse, or carry a purse size umbrella in your purse.
