How do you know what level you should tan at a tanning salon?

I have very pale skin and I can't tan easily! Should I go to the highest level that they have or just start with the basic?

Reply:what ever you do.. do not start anymore than 5 minutes...if the shop lets you then they haven't been imformed to the proper way to have people tan...you can really hurt yourself...don't think more is better...in this case less is best!!!
Reply:I would start with the basic bed. The higher the bed's level is, the stronger the bulbs are. Also, take your time. Start out with only about 5 minutes and add a minute or two every other time you go to tan. You'll be suprised at how quickly you'll get your base tan. After you have a good base tan, you can move up to a higher level of bed and you'll tan darker and faster. just take your time and enjoy your tan.
