The brand I am using is Neutrogena Build-a-Tan for face and Neutrogena Build-a-Tan for body. I have been told not to apply sunless tanner to hands and feet, is this true? If I don't apply it to my hands and feet also it will look really weird, because I am so pale. Any tips/suggestions from experience and not from references, because I have read a lot of the tips from the internet and stuff, but I need tips from people's experience. Thanks.
Could you please give me some tips for applying a sunless tanning lotion?
The first thing you should do is use an exfoliater or scrub to get rid of dead skin and to smooth out rough surfaces. Then use lotion on areas you will be using the tanner on. If you don't, you will get excess tanner on rough patches (knees, elbows, etc) and it looks really weird!
Reply:I've used it on both my hands and feet before and it didn't turn out so well..if you do, make sure to wipe off parts like, knuckles, in between your fingers, and the sides of your feet/fingers, or else it will end up super orange just on those parts. Report It
Reply:Oh and I should mention, if you don't use it on your hands and feet, it will look like your wearing white gloves and socks. Report It
Reply:SWEET HEART USE GLOVes
Reply:apply it all over and wash your hands when your done. apply a little less (basically, don't over do it) around your knees, ankles, and elbows.
=)
