If you want one that'll build gradually (i recommend) use Vaseline Healthy Body Glow.. i find that it works much better than jergens.. some of my friends use jergens and they get streaks and orange right away, and it smells pretty nasty when the active ingredient becomes active... umm i use the vaseline one and it does have the self tanner smell a bit, but it's less potent and after a few days i did see a gradual tan and then when i went to a friend's pool party everyone was like "omg did u go away" baha so basically, i recommed that one! just make sure u rub it in really well onto all parts of ur body (i dont do my face, i use Lancome for my face) yeah and rub in circular motions and make sure u take a bit of time with it and i can usually put on my clothes right afterwards!!

Reply:I don't know the best, but i do know that when you use it, don't use your hands to rub in the lotion. I had orange palms for like a week and a half. Wear like a glove or something. Every tanning lotion out there is ligit, but every lotion out there will give you orange/brown palms if you use your bare hands to rub it in. I suggest the spray on ones. But if you buy the rubbing in tanning lotion, wear something over your hand or use something to rub it in.
