What are your views on self tanning lotions?

I want to try some because I burn in the sun. I burn, it peels away and I'm back to being pasty and pale! Haha. I don't get a nice tan at all. Any good products out there I should try? Anything to be weary about? Thanx a lot!

I completely understand you because i am the same. I have looked at many reviews on the products and 2 are top of the list. L'Oreal but its highly priced and will last under a week. Or Garnier Summer Body. I would highly reccomend Summer Body by Garnier. The thing you dont want (i take it your a guy) is to look orange, you want it to be natural not obvious. Its really good as a lotion and does not turn you orange and will also work on your face (even though this is not stated). Only thing is, i made 1 mistake. Im very pale skinned so i thought its best to get the one for pale skin, which i did.Thing is i noticed hardly no difference at all and i would say it only took me up 1 shade. Next time i will buy this again as it is very natural but i will next time i will definitly go for the one that is for darker skinned people even though im not.





If your pale get one for dark skin for a better tan.





Garnier Summer Body HIGHLY RECCOMENDED for a ntural even soft looking sunkissed tan.

Reply:Coppertone puts out a good one. Read the labels and do exactly what they tell you to do. Find one's that say they don't leave you "orange".
Reply:Loreal Self Tanning Spray,,its sprays out really nice, and the color is like a bronze...if you dont wanna use the spray the Loreal Towlettes work really good too

Reply:well, i like to use neutrogena micro mist and trust me i have really pale skin. so i guess it would be good for you too.
Reply:I"ve tried tons of different ones and unless you want to come out looking like an Oompa Loompa go to a spray-on tan place like Mystic Tan or whatever. It's a healthy looking color that's even and it doesn't streak or look like someone's played tic tac toe on your back! :)





If you must rub it on yourself (and risk missing those hard to reach spots), try Banana Boat. Good Luck!
Reply:The only thing you have to worry about is the that when they start to come off you look kinda splotchy! I haven't found that I think is worth a hoot! Good luck!
Reply:I have tried almost all of them and other than waisting all your money i would suggest you head for your nearest tanning salon and get an air spray tan, dries instantly and it looks unbelievable and last for two weeks even if you swim everyday!
Reply:I hate fake tans. I know that their healthier and everything, but they look gross.
