Which one effects you the most, tanning out in the sun, or tanning in a tanning bed?

tanning in a bed is sort of better *even tho there both not that good* because when your laying in a bed you get a controlled amount of uv rays. but when your outside laying in the sun its uncontrolable how much your getting because theres not little button for you 2 push to control it. But no matter what there both not that good for you and you should always either use a lotion when laying in the tanning bed and when layin outside use an SPF.

Which one effects you the most, tanning out in the sun, or tanning in a tanning bed?
The sun is full of very harmful uv rays. The tanning salon is not as harmful.
Reply:both, you're talking about skin cancer, right?
Reply:the tanning bed i have heard that like 20 minutes in the tanning bed is = to 8 hours laying in the sun
Reply:i think tanning bed, but u can very easily get skin cancer from that, so i would go with natural sun.
Reply:The sun does a better job, but it takes longer %26amp; it's alot hotter.
Reply:both are the same, the tanning bed just does it faster.
Reply:the sun does more damage to you than a tanning bed, my mother owns a salon and she had to take some classes to tell the different types of skin and how long to let them go in for..
Reply:Both. Use sunless tanning lotion, works great
Reply:A tanning bed gives you the most outcome, but is also the most harmful. The sun takes longer to show results on some types of skin but sunscreen can be used to protect the skin, so it is less harmful.
Reply:depends on what effet you're looking for...tanning beds are better for getting a tan quicker (for a tannign effect) and the sun has a more harsh effect as in skin cancer and burns
Reply:Tanning beds for me are quicker but seems like tanning in the sun makes the color last longer.
Reply:Both are horrible for your skin. Both subject your skin to harmful UVA/UVB rays that cause burning, skin damage, permature ageing and skin cancer.

No tan is worth the risk of old, ugly, used-leather looking skin or death!

How about a nice sunless tanner? Applied correctly and teamed with a good sunscreen, it is beautiful and your skin will stay smooth, soft, young looking and proctected.
Reply:"The typical salon uses lamps that emit UVA and UVB rays. The amount of UVA rays is about 10 times more UVA light than you'd get by lying out in your backyard," says Dr. Spencer. "So 20 minutes at a salon triggers the same damage you'd rack up after more than three hours outdoors."

Reply:THE" MOST" WOULD BE TANNING NUDE...GET IT, COULDN'T RESIST
Reply:tanning in a tanning bed is worse. at least outside w/the sun you have the ozone layer protecting you from harmful UV rays. the tanning bed is like a freaking microwave. you just get shot w/radiation, %26amp; it's very concentrated. stick w/the sun... plus the tan will last A LOT longer!!
