is it true...when you first become pregnant and the embryo isnt very old, going to the tanners will kill it??
Tanning while pregnant??
Possibly yes... my doctor told me not to tan... I listened.. and when I went to cancel my sessions, the guy tried to talk me back into it saying he knew a girl who was 6 months and still tanning... but I said no way... listen to the doctor- ask them what they say... but I highly don't recommend tanning while preggo.
Reply:Do some kind of damage, that ultraviolet light, be careful
Reply:I know your not supossed to tan while pregnant, and the chances of miscarriage are in the the first few months, so I guess it is possible. Use the spray tan machine.
Reply:I bet.tanning is heat.You better stop.
Reply:Tanning while pregnant can seriously harm the baby. Do not tan in a salon. I work in a tanning salon and we do not allow pregnant women to tan. There is too high of a risk. There is self tanner that you can use, that's what I have been using throughout my pregnancy :)
Reply:the rays from the tanning bed can harm the baby they put warning on stuff for a reaon and im sure they dont want to loose money from thousands of pregnant women but its federally proven that they will hurt you!
Reply:Have you tried Johnson and Johnsons holiday skin. It is a moisturiser that when used daily builds to a natural looking tan and it isnt as messy and horrible as fake tan.
I found that when i became pregnant i couldnt use it but there is another brand on the market called Dove Summer Glow - i highly recommend it. Some people frown and say any chemicals on the skin is bad but from what i have read the active ingredient only penetrates the first layer of the skin so it should be safe.
I would steer clear of sun beds - a friend of mine just had a cancer burnt off and it wasnt pretty.
