Can you fake tan in tanning beds in your second trimester?

Do you honestly think that you SHOULD do that?? seriously now?? think about it!

Im refusing to answer this

Can you fake tan in tanning beds in your second trimester?
I wouldnt recomend that.
Reply:NO! DO NOT TAN!!! That is so dangerous while pregnant. If you read the sign it says "If you are pregnant or may think you are pregnant DO NOT TAN"
Reply:Normally, the won't let you tan if you're pregnant.

Why would you even take the chance?
Reply:child services line 1
Reply:No way.

Use the self-tanning lotion you can buy in drug stores instead.
Reply:i would not recommend tanning in a tanning bed while pregnant! =)
Reply:you shouldnt fake tan in a tanning bed at any time, they are another cause of skin cancer. a lady recently died from melanoma in australia , she thought tanning beds were safe but they are as dangerous as the sun itself
Reply:Come on, can't you wait until after you've had the baby? I know pregnancy can make you feel dull and unattractive, but please consider an alternative to tanning. If you are showing, they may not even let you, being a liability.
Reply:Any place out there in their right minds do not allow pregnant women to tan in a tanning bed. Just buy tan-in-a-bottle at the store....
Reply:you should not tan in any trimester.
Reply:I don't think so... because they also recommend that you don't take baths that are too hot.
Reply:Tanning anytime during pregnancy is bad... all that uv to the baby.
Reply:If you are talking about the Mystic booths that spay self tanner on you, my doctor said it is not safe.
Reply:Overheating yourself can be dangerous to your baby...dont tan
Reply:If by "fake" tan you mean the spray tan thing, that has been deemed ok by the FDA. I'd say go ahead and do it but beware you may walk out looking as orange as an oompa loompa. You could also use the home self tanners b/c you can distribute it more thinly and make sure to rub it in good.

If by "fake" tan you meant lay in a real tanning bed with real UV lightbulbs that is not allowed. If your body overheats, you are putting your baby in a very risky situation.

Hope this helps :)
Reply:you could but you just cant overexpose yourself. im sure its not on the top things to do while you are pregnant, so if you could hold off do so. im 9 months but i tanned up until 5 months. then i figured it would look weird for this pregnant woman to be stepping out of the tanning booth. but my friend works at a tanning salon and she said its ok for pregnant women to tan, just dont overdo it.
