Tanning moisturiser??

Do these moisturisers that claim to offer "that hint of summer glow" work?





If so, what is the best one? And can you use the same one on your body and face? Do they smell nice?

Most moisturizers do work, but they really do only offer a hint. I used to work at a tanning salon, and we would sell products like that, they contained a little bit of DHA (which is the main ingredient in sunless tanner), and you would need to use repeatedly to notice. It would be best to use these products after shaving, because shaving afterward would simply remove the product. You will see a better result with continued use. In terms of your face, both Jergen's and Oil of Olay manufacture products designed specifically for your face. :) Hope this helps!!
Reply:I used the Superdrug brand last year and i got a fabulous tan. I was really happy with the result. Don't think it costs that much either.
Reply:I buy the one from Dove and got to say the product really delivers- it gives you delicate color that builds over time- it’s best to use it every day for few days to get the tan look. It’s not as concentrated as the self tanner so if you mess it up a bit it does not show. The smell is nice too. Jergens also makes this but I absolutely hate the smell of my skin afterwards (smells like you did not shower after tanning in a tanning booth, yuck.)
Reply:I got one yesturday "dove summer glow" smells great , and works can see the difference after one aplication , takes 5 days to reach the best effect !! natural looking tanning and cheap !!
Reply:nivea or dove are good ones as they give u tan over the days ...so even if u mess up a little bit its no big deal ...also they are very soft and good to ur skin and smell nice !

Reply:I have Jergens and it has a bit of a smell it works but it takes a long time to notice on me but I am fair
Reply:I've tried a few of these products and Johnsons is definately the best. They do ones for body and also one for use on the face. They are quite subtle and give you only a bit of colour, but they make you look and feel brighter!

doesnt smell too good at first but it soon wears off





not meant to use it on face but i use what is on hands to rub on face before i wash them
Reply:dior has a really good one, it doesnt leave streaks and doesny give to much colour, just a summer glow look.
Reply:Have you tried the one from Dove. It's v good and smells lovely.
Reply:I have tried Johnsons, Garnier and Piz Buin, but the best one I've found is Superdrugs own make. It's really good.
Reply:I have tried the Johnson's one it didn't smell very nice but it worked fine and made your skin soft.


I have also tried the Avon one I can't remember the smell but this worked OK too.


They work best if you exfoliate your skin first.


They need to be used over a period of time to build up the colour and don't forget to wash your hands afterwards so you don't get coloured palms.


It's better to use one especially for your face
